On the other hand, 2.0 basestations have slightly wider sweep (possibly better coverage, depending on setup), no need for line of sight for sync, and you can use a total of 4 in a single setup. You will likely find extremely cheap 1.0 base stations in used Vive sets on the used market in the US (and maybe even get a working backup headset). Pick 1.0 or 2.0 depending on your budget.
